MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated member of the Belarusian national freestyle skiing team Hanna Huskova on winning the silver medal at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Dear Anya! We've been waiting for this! We were really looking forward to this medal. Congratulations! This silver is with a golden tint, since only the representative of the Olympics host country placed ahead of you. I am proud of you and our freestyle skiing school!” the message of congratulations runs.
On 14 February, Belarusian Hanna Huskova clinched silver in the Women's Aerials in Beijing. The 2018 Olympic champion opened Women's Aerials Final 2 and set the marker with a big jump that scored 107.95 points. She was beat only by China's Xu Mengtao who scored 108.61. Bronze went to Megan Nick of the United States (93.76).
