Lukashenko congratulates Belarusian agrarians on professional holiday

MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to workers and veterans of the Belarusian agricultural and processing industries as they celebrate their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, thanks to the creative love for their native land and hard work farmers help ensure the food security of Belarus and improve the country's positions on the largest international markets.

“This year you proved once again that our country is a reliable partner able to ramp up export even in the most complicated conditions preserving the excellent quality of products made in Belarus,” the message of greetings reads. “Thank you for your efforts to glorify Belarus as the country of milky rivers, fruitful fields, modern farms, and especially wonderful hardworking people.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the Belarusian agribusiness will be increasingly vibrant and progressive in the future relying on its rich farming traditions.

The president wished workers of the agricultural and processing industries good health, confidence in the future and every success for the benefit of Belarus and its people.
