MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed an order to commend mass media and healthcare workers, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
 
The commendation acknowledges significant personal contribution to the implementation of the state media policy, high professionalism, objective and comprehensive coverage of socio-political and cultural events. The commendation was issued to deputy head for special projects at the Main Directorate of the Television News Agency of the Belarusian State Television and Radio Company Sergei Baranovsky and editor of the same directorate Gleb Gorbatenko, political columnist at the STV TV channel Olga Korshun, Director of the Information Broadcasting Directorate of the Second National Channel Andrei Mokhor, chief of information and analytical programs of the same directorate Yekaterina Tumas-Tishkevich.
 
The president's commendation for many years of fruitful work, exceptional professionalism, and significant personal services to public health was announced to Chief Physician of the Minsk City Emergency Hospital Olga Svetlitskaya, Deputy Chief Physician for Surgery at the National Medical Center of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate Yuri Slobodin and epidemiologist from this center Maria Alekseyeva.
