Lukashenko: BSUIR makes significant contribution to Belarus’ technological sovereignty

MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent the 60th anniversary greetings to Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR), BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state. 

"The Minsk Radio Engineering Institute, established in the years of rapid development of science and technology, has achieved brilliant results in the field of electronics, actively contributed to the informatization of the national economy of the Soviet Union," the message reads. "Today BSUIR is the pride of Belarus." Introducing the latest approaches to education and upbringing, the institution annually graduates unique specialists in the field of radio engineering, instrumentation, information systems, makes a significant contribution to digital development and the technological sovereignty of the country, the president stated.

"I am convinced that in the Year of Quality, your university will make every effort and use all the knowledge and competences to strengthen the position of the Republic of Belarus as an advanced innovative state and promote this status in the international arena," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The head of state wished BSUIR success on the way towards their goals, health, happiness and prosperity.
