MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) - Belarusians will definitely preserve the peaceful sky over their native land for their descendants, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the final concert of the Marathon of Unity campaign in Minsk on 24 January, BelTA learned.
"This piece of land given to us by God is our only home. And this home is not for sale for any money," the head of state emphasized.
The president assured that Belarus will continue to build urban neighborhoods and villages of the future, roads and factories, metro stations and schools, as well as modernize agriculture, develop science, education, and medicine. "Do everything to make the country even more beautiful and cozier for us, our children and grandchildren," the Belarusian leader said. This is what, according to him, the first Year of Improvement in the five-year period of quality is dedicated to. "It will be continued. And, most importantly, we will definitely preserve the peaceful sky above our land for posterity," the head of state emphasized.
