Lukashenko: Belarusian scientists up to any challenge

MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – Belarusian scientists are up to any challenge for the benefit of their country, read the greetings from Belarus' President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Belarusian scientists and workers of research institutes and higher education institutions on the occasion of their professional holiday. The message was read by First Deputy Head of Belarus President Administration Maksim Ryzhenkov at an official event at the National Academy of Sciences, BelTA learned.

“Belarus has always been known for its scientific organizations with powerful intellectual potential. Our research and developments in the most groundbreaking and sought-after areas find practical application not only in our country, but also far beyond its borders. Every your triumph, your continuous build-up of knowledge and your new achievements of social significance are our national wealth and a triumph for all people of Belarus,” the message reads.

The Belarusian leader thanked the scientists for their consistent research activities and their loyalty to traditions and chosen profession and wished them great health, creative longevity and remarkable scientific discoveries. “I have no doubt that Belarusian scientists are up to any challenge for the benefit of their country,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
