Lukashenko: Belarus will think about new measures to support large families

LYUBAN DISTRICT, 23 May (BelTA) -  Belarus will think about new measures to support large families, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during his working trip to Lyuban District, BelTA learned.

"Women are not eager to have children. We will think about new measures to support large families and other families. Not just housing measures. Although, I thought that if we built housing, everyone would rush to have kids. It's nothing like that. It seem there is no need for housing and all this," the head of state said.

"Well, there are normal women who give birth. Men... You see, men are not what they used to be. Ours was the last generation of true men," Aleksandr Lukashenko said in a conversation with Ivan Golovaty, first deputy director of the mining and processing complex near Lyuban.
