MOSCOW, 13 March (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia are at the forefront of the fight for a just world, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a press conference after the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on 13 March, BelTA learned.
“Thanks to their consistent, balanced and responsible foreign policy, Belarus and Russia are at the forefront of the fight for a just world order today. We have been doing this for many years already. Our countries can and should serve as an example for partners how to solve complex problems of our time, preserve and protect common values, provide mutual assistance in the realization of national interests based on the principles of equality and respect,” the president said.
“We agreed with the Russian president that we will overcome everything. We will do everything to make sure our peoples have the best opportunities in the world. We don't want anything that is not ours, but we will not give away what is ours. This is the key principle for us, always has been and always will be,” the Belarusian leader summarized.
