GRODNO DISTRICT, 26 November (BelTA) – Belarus is not going to toy with and make politics out of fates of refugees. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement as he talked to refugees outside a transportation and logistics hub near the border checkpoint Bruzgi at the Belarusian-Polish border on 26 November, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “The truth is that we are in no way going to toy with and make politics out of your fates. We know and understand you well. You are intent on getting into Europe. You've been invited to go there and you want to go there. Some of you have family members over there: wives, husbands, parents. You want to reunite your families and there are quite a few people like that.”
