MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – Belarus has preserved and built upon a powerful real economic sector, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in his Address to the Belarusian People and Parliament, BelTA has learned.

At the same time, the head of state noted that serious progress remains to be made on labor productivity.
“Despite the considerable challenges of the period, domestic enterprises continued to invest heavily in technological development and modernization. This lays a foundation for the future. In the current five-year period, we have completed the implementation of nearly 1,000 industrial projects. And this has been accomplished alongside the construction of the necessary housing, roads, and social and sports infrastructure,” stated Aleksandr Lukashenko.
