MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – Oleg Novitsky, an instructor, cosmonaut, and test pilot of the Cosmonaut Corps of the Russian state corporation Roscosmos, has been awarded an Order of Friendship of Peoples. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the relevant decree, BelTA has learned.
Oleg Novitsky was awarded in recognition of significant accomplishments in the area of space exploration and a great personal contribution to the strengthening of international ties.
