MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – With the right path chosen, Belarus will have good relations with Israel, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he made new personnel appointments on 14 January, BelTA has learned.
“I do not know how [new Belarus’ Ambassador to Israel Yuri] Yaroshevich will work in Israel, but it is not going to be easy there. But if he finds the right path, we will have good relations with Israel,” the president stressed. “There are many people there who would not like to build relations with us, but the majority of people there appreciate and respect Belarus. There are also plenty of our nationals, who have moved to Israel, and their children. I think you know better than I do how to build relations there.”
