Lukashenko appoints new aide for Gomel Oblast

MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Sergei Bartosh Presidential Aide – Inspector for Gomel Oblast on 3 October, BelTA has learned.

Before that Sergei Bartosh was Chairman of the Bereza District Executive Committee.

“There were probably five or six candidates, but you have been chosen for this position as an experienced person. Most importantly, your experience should help Gomel move forward. The former agriculture and food minister works there. He needs a good support in your person as a presidential aide. The region has personnel issues. You are an inspector and you will have to monitor personnel recruitment and restore order and discipline,” Aleksandr Lukashenko voiced the list of tasks for the new aide.

“This personnel turnover issue should be dealt with. We need iron discipline,” the president stressed.
