MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Digital technologies should serve educational goals instead of entertaining the students. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement during the National Pedagogical Conference on 24 August, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Undoubtedly, we will use components of distance learning. We will incorporate them into the education process. It is probably an objective necessity. Nevertheless, I'd like to caution you: digital opportunities should serve educational goals instead of entertaining the students.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed: “During a lesson the teacher is not a blogger, a youtuber, or an information entertainer. It is a matter of professional aptitude and image. The status, too.”
