VOLOZHIN, 19 October (BelTA) – A farmer should be a partner, not a rival for the state, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the regional stage of the Dazhynki harvest festival in Volozhin on 19 October, BelTA has learned.
“A good example of how to do things smartly is the Spartan-Agro company that runs orchards in Molodechno. A farmer is not a rival, but a partner for the state. Good initiatives should be encouraged and get the greenlight. We must support an effective private enterprise that partnered with the state,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
But regardless of whether it is a state-owned or private enterprise, quality must be above everything, the president noted.
