MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) – Twenty-one people serving in the Armed Forces, Interior Ministry interior forces, and national security bodies have received letters of commendation from the Belarusian president in recognition of academic excellence and exemplary fulfillment of their military duties. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed the corresponding resolution, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Letters of commendation were bestowed upon the graduates of the Command and Staff Department of the Belarusian Military Academy Colonel Vladimir Bely, the Academy of the Interior Ministry of Belarus Colonel Alexander Garus, Belarus' National Security Institute Lieutenant Roman Kirsanov, Marshal Semyon Budyonny Military Signals and Communications Corps Academy at the Russian Defense Ministry Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Gavrilik, the military educational and scientific center of the Ground Troops of the Combined Arms Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Major Andrei Sharupich.
