MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Employer-sponsored education programs in universities have proved their worth, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed the National Pedagogical Conference in Minsk on 24 August, BelTA has learned.
“Everyone knows that employer-sponsored education is the best way to meet the needs of the economy. This form of work has proved to be absolutely worthwhile,” the president said.
According to him, an instruction has been given to heads of industrial enterprises and agricultural organizations to expand this practice. “Customers will have no problems choosing universities for their personnel training,” the head of state said.
