MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) - Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko will take part in a web-based session of the Supreme State Council on 4 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The meeting will also be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the prime ministers of the two countries and the heads of the houses of the two parliaments.
The meeting will discuss a wide range of issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation, which will be reflected in the six-item agenda.
The draft guidelines to implement the Union State Treaty in 2021-2023 will be the first item on the agenda. A package of Union State programs that have been developed in furtherance of the draft guidelines will become a practical basis for advancing the integration.
The draft decree, which approves the guidelines and the Union State programs, has already been sent to the chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The parties are also set to discuss the trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Belarus, the Military Doctrine of the Union State, the concept of migration policy of the Union State and the nominees for the maiden Union State Award in Science and Technology 2021.
