Call on Belarusian Women’s Union to become barrier against alien perverted values of today

MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) - The Belarusian Women’s Union should become a barrier to protect our society from the alien perverted values of today, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during a meeting with activists of the Belarusian Women’s Union in Minsk on 5 March, BelTA has learned.

The head of state suggested that the Belarusian Women’s Union take control of a number of issues that are important for society, for example women's health and promotion of families with children.

"The slogan of one of the projects by the Belarusian Women’s Union is ‘Women's Health - Health of the Nation’. This is absolutely to the point, it's true. Our country is taking unprecedented measures to protect motherhood and childhood, to provide pregnancy care, to provide free IVF  and annual medical examinations. But all measures of the state will be in vain if a woman herself does not take care of her health," the president said. He recommended that every woman try to find time for physical activity in order to stay in a cheerful mood.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the Belarusian Women's Union should play an important role in promoting traditional family values and become a barrier to protect our society from the alien perverted values of today, which, according to him, will become more and more. "Only a woman who has experienced the joy of motherhood knows that this is the real meaning of life. It will not be replaced by prestigious jobs or overseas resorts. Children are our continuation," the president emphasized.

"One more thing I would like to ask of you: please remain a tower of strength for us, men. Make us go crazy with love. This is it. We, in turn, will do everything else. We will do everything to ensure that Belarus not only survives this difficult time, but also comes out of it stronger, more developed and tempered," the head of state noted.
