MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko awarded letters of commendation to workers of archives, enterprises, educational and cultural institutions. The head of state has signed a corresponding executive order, BelTA informs.
The letters of commendation were given to workers of the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) in recognition of many-year productive work, professional excellence, a big contribution to the education of highly-qualified specialists. These include professor of the advanced mathematics chair Mikhail Dymkov, chief of the materials' physiochemistry and production technologies chair Nikolai Matveyko and first vice rector of the university Viktor Sadovsky.
In recognition of a big contribution to the work of the National Archives Fund, development of this industry and the historical science in Belarus the letters of commendation were presented to the National Archives Fund of Belarus. The president also commended workers of ZAO Holographic Industry for a big contribution to the development of holographic production and implementation of state programs in defense technologies.
In recognition of many-year productive work, a big personal contribution to the development of Belarusian literature the letter of commendation was awarded to member of the board of the Union of Writers of Belarus Vasily Shirko.
