MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Top officials of the municipal government agencies should be enterprising in making managerial decisions. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement as he authorized the appointment of new heads of district administrations and deputy heads of oblast administrations on 13 May, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Don't look around. You have your area to take care of. Particularly heads of district administrations. Your area has clear-cut borders. Act. Don't expect instructions from upstairs. I often say: it is better to make a decision and be in error, then being afraid of making decisions and make no decisions at all.”
“If you make an error, you have to correct the error right away,” he added.
