
MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) - Belarus and Vietnam have signed a package of documents following the talks between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party To Lam in Minsk, BelTA learned.
The ceremony of signing and exchanging the international documents took place after the summit talks. Thus, during the visit, the Defense Ministries of Belarus and Vietnam signed a protocol of intent to strengthen cooperation in the field of training of military personnel and specialists.
A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in digital transformation and digital economy was concluded between the Communications and Informatization Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam. The State Committee for Science and Technology also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in science, technology, and innovation with the Vietnamese side.
The Belarusian Culture Ministry signed a program of cooperation in culture for 2026-2028 with the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Vietnam. The program of cooperation for 2025-2027 was inked between the Ministries of Justice.
The Healthcare Ministries of Belarus and Vietnam exchanged texts of the memorandum on cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals.
A cooperation agreement was concluded between the Belarusian National State TV and Radio company and The Voice of Vietnam radio. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Belarusian Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Societies.
