MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Over 50 years of existence the United Arab Emirates has made significant progress in various fields. I am pleased to note that the interaction between our countries is an example of successful interstate partnership,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko reaffirmed Belarus' readiness to further develop and enhance productive bilateral cooperation.
The head of state has also sent greetings to Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The president expressed confidence that by joint efforts the countries will manage to deepen political ties and utilize the potential of the trade and economic cooperation for the benefit of the two nations.
