MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to help the United States of America by supplying baby food. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement while talking to reporters on 3 June, BelTA has learned.
One of the questions mentioned the possible organization of humanitarian aid for American kids in the form of supplies of baby food, which is no longer available in U.S. shops.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “We are ready to help Americans with supplies of baby food. You can inform every American about that via mass media. We have good milk, good meat products for the kiddies as well as tinned food, milk formulas, and the rest. We can start deliveries tomorrow if they want it.” He believes it will be appropriate to ship humanitarian aid and sell Belarusian baby food to the USA on the basis of commercial contracts: “I think they are not poor people and will be able to buy it.”
