MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – Unique photos and videos have been uploaded to the website of the Belarusian president. The updated president's website was launched on 9 February, BelTA learned from Natalya Eismont, Press Secretary of the Belarus President.
“These archives highlight crucial events, starting from 1994. They feature photos and videos which will definitely be extremely popular with our users. These materials will also be useful for journalists. This is the first time we have posted these unique archive materials in such a format,” Natalya Eismont said.
According to her, the President Off Duty section is another interesting feature of the updated website and will attract considerable interest. “It has lots of photos, including family pictures of the president with his sons and grandchildren. New photos and older ones. The section also tells about the president's sports activities, both past and present, the vegetable garden where the president grows potatoes, watermelons, and many other vegetables,” the press secretary said.
In her words, for the time being the President Off Duty section features only archive materials, but it will be regularly updated.
Only photos are available for download now. Videos will be made available for download later. “This opportunity will be appreciated by journalists who will be able to use videos, especially the archive footage, in their work,” Natalya Eismont said.
