MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed an executive order to hold liable a number of officials for failing to take measures to institute order in secondary schools and for failing to fulfill the head of state's instructions, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
Strict warnings have been issued to Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas, Head of the Belarus President Administration Natalya Kochanova, and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko.
Belarusian Education Minister Igor Karpenko has been warned about partial incompetence.
The Gomel Oblast governor has been instructed to bring disciplinary action against a number of subordinates.
The Gomel Oblast governor has also been instructed to find other jobs for a number of education system officials, including Director of Gomel's Secondary School No.15 Marina Chernenko.
The prime minister, the head of the Belarus President Administration, the education minister, and the Gomel Oblast governor have been instructed to bring disciplinary action against a number of officials for failures to ensure proper operation of secondary education institutions.
