MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved a draft Belarusian-Mongolian intergovernmental agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of driver licenses. The head of state signed relevant decree No.216 on 30 May, BelTA has learned.
The draft agreement has been approved as the basis for conducting negotiations. The Internal Affairs Ministry has been authorized to conduct the negotiations and sign the agreement.
As part of the agreement Belarus and Mongolia recognize each other’s driver licenses. Citizens of one state with permanent residence permits of the other state will be able to exchange driver licenses without passing theoretical and practical exams.
