Belarus' Development Bank to finance healthcare projects in Brest, Grodno

MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus will issue loans to build a healthcare complex in Brest and to reconstruct City Clinical Hospital No.3 in Grodno to adapt it for the regional clinical oncology clinic. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the relevant executive order, BelTA has learned from the press service of the president.

The Development Bank will provide a loan of Br25 million to Brest in 2020-2022 and Br53.8 million to Grodno in 2020-2025 for these projects.

According to the executive order, the loan to build the healthcare complex in Brest and interests will be paid out of the national budget funds set aside to finance the state investment programs in 2020-2029. The loan to reconstruct the hospital in Grodno will be repaid from the Grodno Oblast budget.
