MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko outlined tasks for the State Committee on Science and Technology as he made new appointments on 4 March, BelTA has learned.
Sergei Shlychkov has been reappointed as head of the State Committee on Science and Technology.
“As for the State Committee on Science and Technology. We need new five-year programs. I cannot see this structure yet. We have already talked about it. We need to start working in this area,” the head of state said.
“We need this structure as there will be no progress without science. We talk much about science, innovation. Yet, we have done little here,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
