MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decree No.454 on 4 December to approve a draft protocol on amending the Belarus-Russia intergovernmental agreement on measures to regulate trade and economic cooperation in the field of the export of oil and oil products of 12 January 2007 as the basis for negotiations, the press service of the head of state told BelTA.
The protocol provides for expanding the duration of the agreement till 31 December 2026 and later on in annual increments while preserving the existing norms.
The Belarus government has been authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft document and sign it.
