MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Aleksei Bogdanov Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade on 21 December, BelTA has learned.
Aleksei Bogdanov was born in Minsk in 1973. He graduated from the Academy of Physical Education and Sport, International Humanities and Economics Institute and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

He worked as an instructor at the Belarusian Traditional Karatedo Federation, the physical training and sports department of the Humanities and Economics Institute and at the department of martial arts and special training of the Belarusian State Academy of Physical Education.
In 2008, he joined Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky to serve as head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department and deputy director general for processing and trade.
Aleksei Bogdanov worked as deputy director general of Meat and Dairy Company (2013-2014), head of the main department of foreign economic activity of the Agriculture and Food Ministry (2014 - 2021). Until now he has held the post of Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister.
