Lukashenko: Belarus has ensured its complete security

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – Belarus has achieved complete security, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during an interview with the Interstate TV and Radio Company Mir on 8 April, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the Treaty on Security Guarantees within the Union State of Belarus and Russia provides Belarus with full protection.

"No one will dare to go to war with a country that has nuclear weapons, no matter what country it is. Even if someone wishes to wipe North Korea off the map, it does not work. It is a nuclear state. If it uses its weapons, this will wreak havoc. The same applies to Belarus. The Poles, the Baltic states, and others were hatching certain plans, but they have gone quiet. Why? I am not talking about the Germans: they are less reckless. So, why have they quieted down? I read their statements, receive reports: they are afraid," the Belarusian leader said.
