MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) – Ukraine is trying to strike at Belarus using the self-exiled opposition, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich said at a briefing on ongoing military and political developments in Belarus and abroad, BelTA has learned.
“Unfortunately, the West is trying to propagate an idea that the Belarusian army may join the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. Being tricked into believing that this might really happen, the military and political leadership of NATO and a number of European countries is already openly considering possible options of aggression against our country. The highest echelons of power of Ukraine are also discussing the possibility of striking at Belarus, primarily using our self-exiled opposition located there: the Kalinovsky Regiment, the Litvin battalion and other illegal armed formations,” Aleksandr Volfovich said.
