MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) - The U.S. Department of State removed from its official website the statement by former Secretary of State Antony Blinken about non-recognition of the presidential election in Belarus, BelTA has learned.
The page, where the statement was published earlier, is currently not available and reads: “We apologize for the inconvenience.” The text denouncing the election in Belarus has been removed.
Antony Blinken, who served as U.S. Secretary of State under the Biden administration, said last week that he did not recognize the upcoming presidential election in Belarus and considered them “non-credible”.
