U.S. president's national security adviser visiting Belarus

MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – John Bolton, U.S. President Donald Trump's national security advisor, is on a visit to Belarus on 29 August, Anatoly Glaz, Head of the Information and Digital Diplomacy Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a briefing, BelTA has learned.

John Bolton is set to hold talks with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei to discuss regional security matters, among other things.

The press secretary informed that John Bolton will have a highest-level meeting in Minsk on 29 August. Anatoly Glaz emphasized that top on the agenda will be Belarus-USA relations and regional security.
