MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) — Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov received copies of credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay to the Republic of Belarus Daniel Castillos Gomez on 30 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of the Belarusian-Uruguayan dialogue on issues of mutual interest. Special attention was paid to the promotion of trade and economic interaction, primarily in agriculture, industry, healthcare, and information technologies.
The parties expressed mutual interest in the consistent development of legal framework of bilateral relations.
