MOSCOW, 19 October (BelTA) - The Commission on Security and Defense of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia is expected to hold a meeting on 26 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly.
“The MPs are set to discuss issues related to the legislative regulation of activities to counteract foreign interference through non-profit organizations (NPOs) financed from abroad. Plans are also in place to consider the development and approval of the Union State information security concept,” the press service said.
The agenda of the meeting will also include a discussion of the development of the Union State programs on the activities of the PA Commission on Security and Defense.
Representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia have been invited to participate in the session.
