MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – The United Nations Organization has to recognize the violation of human rights of refugees by European Union countries at the Belarusian-Polish border, BelTA learned from Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva Yuri Ambrazevich.
The official said: “We pointed it out during the meeting with UN high commissioner for human rights. Belarus hopes that the relevant UNHCR branches will clearly record the human rights violations committed by our partners, who interfere with legal attempts of refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers to get the refugee status in the countries Belarus' borders with.”
