MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) - Permanent Representative of Belarus to the United Nations Valentin Rybakov met with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to inform him about the violation of Belarusian airspace by Ukraine on 9 August 2024 and the measures taken by the Belarusian side in this regard, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Valentin Rybakov emphasized that the provocation by Ukraine was a dangerous action to expand the conflict zone with an attempt to involve Belarus in it, which has always advocated the settlement of the crisis and stopping the bloodshed,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
