Timing of Union State summit depends on readiness of Belarus-Russia integration road maps

MOSCOW, 28 November (BelTA) - The timing of a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Belarus-Russia Union State depends, to some extent, on the degree of readiness of 31 integration currently developed by the parties, State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Grigory Rapota said in an interview with BelTA.

When asked whether there is any certainty about the timing of the summit or whether it depends on the readinesses of the road maps, Grigory Rapota said: “It depends on the will of the two presidents. They determine when it makes sense to hold a meeting and they set the date. The agenda is largely ready. We are ready for any decision. I believe that the timing of the Union State summit depends, to some extent, on the degree of readiness of the road maps. I cannot say when that happens. I do not have such information.”
