MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Bassam Sabbagh is in Belarus on a working visit, BelTA has learned.
Bassam Sabbagh is set to hold talks with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov. He is also expected to attend the 2nd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
Maksim Ryzhenkov and Bassam Sabbagh met on the margins of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York in September. The ministers discussed the projects to rebuild Syria's infrastructure and economy, the health recuperation program for Syrian children in Belarus, mutual support in international organizations, and the situation in the region.
