MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - Belarus is committed to further integration with Russia across all areas of bilateral cooperation, Belarus’ First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov said at a reception at the Russian Embassy in Minsk on the occasion of Russia Day on 11 June, BelTA has learned.
"Russia in the 21st-century is a unique and multifaceted country of new ideas and opportunities," Nikolai Snopkov stated. "Millions of Russians support President Vladimir Putin’s initiatives to address key domestic and foreign policy issues. This is the foundation for Russia’s continued successful development as one of the centers of the emerging multipolar world."
"In turn, we welcome Russia’s successes and remain focused on further strengthening our cooperation within the Union State across all areas," he added.
"Despite challenges and unforeseen circumstances, we always trust in the wisdom of the Russian leadership. True strength lies not only in achievements but also in the ability to support each other, value loyal friends, and maintain unity," Nikolai Snopkov emphasized.
"For us, Belarusians, it is especially important to feel this support and mutual understanding, which serves as a strong foundation for our common path forward," he noted.
