MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Serbia have very good cooperation plans, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Belarus Ilina Vukajlović said following the meeting with Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova in Minsk on 25 October, BelTA has learned.
“We have very good cooperation plans going forward and there are quite a few areas where we can forge partnerships. Serbia was elected the host of Expo 2027. This is a big deal for us, we invite friends, first of all the friendly nation of Belarus, to take part in it, to showcase its competencies, capabilities, potential in all areas. Serbia is also a member of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence and will chair the organization for the next three years. We have made good progress in the economy. And we are ready to exchange best practices, our expertise and knowledge with our friends from Belarus. Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin will arrive in Minsk next week for the second Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security. We are also planning a number of events for the 30th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. We will arrange a large exhibition in the Museum of the Great Patriotic War History about the ordeals of Serbian people during World War II. We are glad to continue cooperation with friendly Belarus in absolutely all areas in the interests of our peoples,” Ilina Vukajlović emphasized.
