MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – China invariably supports Belarus in its political and economic development policies. Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov made the relevant statement on the air of the TV channel Belarus One, BelTA has learned.
Maxim Ryzhenkov said: “We have the highest level of bilateral partnership with China. It doesn’t get higher than that. Throughout the entire time of our cooperation China has repeatedly demonstrated that it is our reliable partner, reliable ally. I mean there has not been a single moment when China failed to support our political or economic line and when we failed to support China.”
He stressed that this level of cooperation is based on very sincere, friendly relations of the leaders of the two countries and gives an opportunity to efficiently advance trade, economic, and political interaction.
The minister spoke about the importance of implementing previously adopted directive No.9 on advancing Belarus-China relations. “The directive stipulates everything that has to be done starting with humanitarian cooperation and ending with the realization of concrete projects, from matters of military cooperation and international cooperation to matters of support for the project initiatives, which are being implemented either in Belarus or in China today,” Maxim Ryzhenkov pointed out.
“From the point of this political framework of relations, from the point of the highest political umbrella, everything has been created,” Belarus’ minister of foreign affairs concluded.
