MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) - All the prerequisites are in place for improving the well-being of citizens of the Union State, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Boris Gryzlov told the media in Minsk on 3 February, BelTA has learned.
The diplomat recalled that the main guidelines to implement the Union State Treaty for 2021-2023, and the 28 Union State programs were approved at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State on 4 November 2021.
"We are starting serious, painstaking work," Ambassador Boris Gryzlov said. “I, the ambassador, and our entire embassy will work to provide diplomatic support for all decisions made. And they are many: the Union State Treaty, the military doctrine, the concept of migration policy, 28 sectoral Union State program… This is actually a stream of issues that we will need to work on painstakingly. We need to back these programs with laws and regulations. It's a lot of work.”
The ambassador is confident that once Belarus and Russia implemented the Union State programs, people in Belarus and Russia will appreciate the fruits of the Union State. "The main thing is to improve the well-being of our citizens. There are all the prerequisites for this," Ambassador Boris Gryzlov noted.
