
MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – We may say that the conflict between Israel and Iran is now a thing of the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk on 26 June, BelTA has learned.
“A free trade agreement with Iran came into force in May. Thankfully, the situation in the Middle East is stabilizing. We may say that the conflict between Israel and Iran is now behind us. This development paves the way for us to cultivate closer ties with all countries of the region, including with Iran,” Vladimir Putin said.
The Russian leader also noted that the agreements on economic cooperation with the UAE will be signed at the Supreme Eurasian Council meet tomorrow.Ttrade liberalization with Indonesia, Egypt, India is at the discussion stage.
