MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – Russia has not interfered with internal processes in Belarus and hopes that other countries will not impose solutions on Minsk either, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club on 22 October, TASS informs.
“Russia has not interfered with the internal processes in Belarus. We hope that nobody will interfere, nobody will impose any solutions on Belarusian people,” Vladimir Putin said.
The Russian president stressed that it is important that Belarusians are given an opportunity to sort out the entire situation calmly, to make appropriate decisions. “These decisions possibly lie on the path of introducing amendments to the current constitution,” the president added.
