VERONA, 19 October (BelTA) – For the ten years since its inception, the Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona has fully proved its worth and earned a well-deserved international prestige, reads the greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin to the 10th Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona which was read out by Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft Igor Sechin, BelTA has learned.
“This time the forum agenda is particularly rich and varied. The forum participants will discuss the prospects for cooperation between the leading integration associations, namely the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union, will examine the topical issues of multilateral cooperation in energy, finance, transportation, infrastructure, science and technology, environmental protection,” reads the letter of greetings from the Russian president.
Vladimir Putin hopes that the suggestions and initiatives to be worked during the forum will help unlock the unique potential of Eurasian integration and will contribute to the realization of the idea of creating a single economic and humanitarian space from Lisbon to Vladivostok.
