MOSCOW, 21 March (TASS) - European politicians are dead-set on militarizing Europe whatever the costs, spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov told the media, TASS reports.
"In public, European leaders present a different facade. They have their eyes fixed on militarizing Europe regardless of the consequences," the Kremlin spokesman remarked.
"The militarization of Europe is a very, very dangerous trend. It certainly does not bring us any closer to the easing of tensions or to the restoration of mutual trust; rather, it undermines security in Europe," Dmitry Peskov emphasized.
He further noted, "It is clear that many Europeans do not like this trend. However, they all conform to it."
