MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is willing to send a delegation of the Russian Federation to Minsk for negotiations with Ukraine, spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov told the media, TASS has learned.
"In response to Zelensky's proposal, Vladimir Putin is willing to send a Russian delegation at the level f the Defense Ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Administration to Minsk for negotiations with a Ukrainian delegation," he said.
Dmitry Peskov also said that Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko assured Russian leader Vladimir Putin that Minsk is ready to host the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. "Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone today with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, who in turn assured that he would be ready to accommodate the delegations, to ensure their safety and immunity and host the above-mentioned negotiations," the Kremlin spokesman said.
